Government Graduate College Asghar Mall has taught continuously since 1904 — through a pluralist founding, a Partition, and now a National Heritage designation. What has not changed is what we ask of every department on this campus: teach with rigour, hold research to a standard that survives scrutiny, and send graduates into the world with both a skill and a conscience.

Across our seventeen departments, that shows up in different clothes — a Geography faculty with twenty Punjab University gold medals and a working GIS lab; a Chemistry department asking students to solve real problems in clean water and industry; an Urdu department supervising forty-two research theses; a Data Science programme built for a field that barely existed a decade ago. The instruments differ. The standard does not: quality education, genuine research, ethical practice, and a hand extended to the community we serve.
